I have a confession to make, I've got a serious #girlcrush on this successful woman in agriculture. Jodi Oleen is a woman on a mission, taking the pork industry by storm. Jodi is the ultimate "See it. Want it. Go Get It." gal. She is a woman who did not grow up in the agriculture industry yet she is currently one of the most successful communicators in the biz, managing accounts with over 80,000 followers, not to mention mama to one seriously adorable outlaw.
Social media can be an amazingly hard tool if you don't know how to use it to your benefit. Some people have a natural gift, while it takes others several years to identify the recipe for success. So much of this success is generated from building the ideal and correct social media audience for your brand.
When used correctly, Social Media has so many things to offer. You can grow your brand, generate sales, increase cause awareness, create event excitement, and the list goes on.
Ranch wives are perfect, we have it all together.
Our grocery cart (only 1 remember) is manageable and easily pushed. All of the items are placed neatly in a category like order.
I mean, we only live 5 minutes from the store, right? Therefore we can always run back and forth to grab some extra milk if we run out while baking brownies. And our children and husbands aren't so famished at meal time that you have to make double portions of the recipe, they've just been sitting around reading or playing video games all day.
No hard work here.
You can do whatever you want. It's that simple. It's amazing what can happen when you let go and let 'The Big Guy' do his thang...
But, I've always had a hard time letting go, I have a very independent personality and enjoy being in control of my own life and circumstances. I had a hard time succeeding in school by this blessing of a curse, so I never made it very far in my higher education. I just 'knew' I could do it on my own and that I was obviously wasting my time sitting in these classes, throwing money out the window like every 18-year-old does.
